The Kenny M. Caldwell Memorial Scholarship is an annual award developed by the Board of Directors of Anderson Area Crime Stoppers to honor President Emeritus and founding member, Kenny M. Caldwell, who suddenly passed away in August 2019.

     Kenny had served as the coordinator for Anderson Area Crime Stoppers for over 30 years and was instrumental in revitalizing the program in the community.  He was also a reserve officer with the City of Anderson Police Department for more than 39 years.

​

     For 2023, Anderson Area Crime Stoppers is offering three (3) awards to college students majoring in Criminal Justice.  AACS will award $500 to one Tri-County Technical College student, $1000 to one Anderson University undergraduate student, and $1000 to one Anderson University Command College or Public Services Administration program participant.
